Economics is an intriguing subject right?

It tells you development means the growth of GDP. But if we take a look at the current situation in our country, it becomes as clear as day that it is just a myth. GDP is accelerating, so people must be in a good condition! In reality, their sufferings know no bound. Price hike of essential commodities is making living in this country unbearable day by day. Having per capita gross domestic product (GDP) $2,138.794 must show some progress, but where is it? Increasing diesel prices leading to increasing bus fares and everyday necessities indicate the possibility of upcoming hyperinflation. If the growth of GDP doesn’t allow us to breathe in peace for a single moment, makes life harder, do we really need that growth?
