World Bicycle Day Celebration 2025 “Less space, zero pollution – Bicycle is a modern vehicle”
Every day, residents of Dhaka face unbearable traffic congestion. A statistic says that people lose 8.2 million working hours due to traffic jams. The average speed of vehicles is 4.7 Kilometers per hour. Experts believe that the average speed of regular mobility will be significantly reduced if people do not opt for alternative transportation methods. In this circumstance, in celebration of World Bicycle Day, the Institute of Wellbeing Bangladesh and Work for a Better Bangladesh (trust) organized a bicycle rally. June 3 is World Bicycle Day, but we held the rally on June 1 to maintain our role in the celebration.
