In Bangladesh, we celebrated localization with a 3-days event in village where over three hundred community members joined the event and enjoyed different programs including: local games and sports, display of cultural elements including cultural dresses, cultural farming tools, and cultural foods and fruits. The event ended with a cultural and musical afternoon.

Display of local food and cultural elements

At this moment of rapid globalization It is important to include young generation and teenagers in preserving local culture and valuing local food for having a healthy community. Thus, we invited school students and the local community to visit and see display of the local food, fruits and cultural elements.

Local games

One of the important element of localization is to keep the local community connected to each other. Local games and sports can truly play a vital role in connecting us to our roots, to bringing back some elements of happy life through playing together. In this event, we prepared local games and over hundreds of children and teenagers joined the different groups and enjoyed a refreshing happy day.

Cultural show program

We ended the village localization event with a cultural show program where the participants danced and sang local songs. Different age groups of people joined the event, socialized with each other over tea and local snacks.
